13 Do's and Don'ts during pregnancy.


    Do’s

Have a proper intake of dairy products.

Do have plenty of water. Stay hydrated.

Do take multivitamins
Do get enough sleep.

Do include walking in your daily schedule.

Do get a flu vaccine.

Do get the required weight.

Do read good books.


Do breakdown your   meals   in a day to avoid heartburn.


Do have a good sleeping posture.


Do maintain safe traveling habits.

Do have proper visits to doctors and tests done on time.

Do avoid slippery places and slopes to reduce the risk of falling.


Do’s during pregnancy

Get examine on regular basis: It ensures that you do not have any complications and problems during pregnancy.

 Have dairy products: Having a proper intake of dairy products helps in the development of the baby’s growth. Having milk and milk products in any form helps in the baby’s developing bones.

Stay Hydrated: Have 6-8 glasses of fluids including juices and milk. Having fluids reduces the chance of urinary infections.

Do take multivitamins: Folic acid, calcium, iron vitamins help in the proper development of fetus and helps you prevent birth defects.

Do sleep: Due to the hormonal changes in the body, you might feel tired. To get relief from tiredness have power naps and also an aim of 7-9 hrs of sleep per day.

Do walk: Walking increases your energy level. So, keep walking in your schedule daily.

Do get a flu vaccine: Because of changes in your immune system, you are more prone to serious illness from the flu. And contracting from the flu during pregnancy can also raise the risk of complications.

Do get the required weight: Do gain weight smartly. Have a balanced and proper diet. Have a proper amount of fat, carbohydrates, protein, dark leafy vegetables and fruits.

Sleeping on the side: Sleeping on the side improves the blood circulation along with the placenta and reduces the swelling.


Don’ts

Don’t smoke and even don’t stand

 near to a person smoking as passive

Smoking is also dangerous.
Don’t drink alcohol.
Do not stand or sit for a long time.
Do not take the stress.
Don’t eat raw food and sprouts.
Don’t intake a lot of caffeine.
Do not keep the mobile phone near you when not required and
 even stay away from X-rays radiation.
Do not have junk food /processed food, unpasteurized milk
 and cheese.
Do not use powerful acids and toilet cleaner 
and even mosquito repellents.
Do not have contact with pesticides.
Do not lift heavyweight and even do not bend.
Do not take any medications unless your doctor approves it.
Do not sit in exceedingly bathing tub or vapor bath.

Don’ts during pregnancy


Don’t smoke: Do not smoke and even do not stand near to a person smoking, it can lead to low birth weight babies, premature delivery and even cancer in some cases during pregnancy. So, avoid the consumption of nicotine in any form.

Don’t drink alcohol: Drinking alcohol during pregnancy can lead to miscarriage, stillbirth, behavioral and intellectual disabilities.

Don’t stand or sit for a long: You should not sit or stand for long in the same position as it can put pressure on ankles and the veins.

Do not take stress: Taking stress can affect your immune system and can lead to miscarriage and preterm labor.

Don’t have raw sprouts and foods: Raw sprouts and food contain harmful bacteria. These harmful bacteria can affect you and your baby’s health. So avoid raw sprouts.

Caffeine intake: Pregnant women should limit their caffeine intake to 2-3 cups/day. High caffeine intake during pregnancy can limit fetus growth and can cause low birth weight.

Exposure to radiations: In case of your job or where you stay are surrounded by this equipment that emits high powered radiations then you should avoid that place. Avoid too much contact with mobile phones when not required. Avoid X-rays test during pregnancy.

Do not sit in an exceedingly bathing tub or vapor bath: Avoid sauna and hot tub bath. There is a chance of overheating and dehydration. And you may also faint.
